Thermabell, Barbell Warmer with Remote

It's an amazing product. I use this in an home gym where the temperature in the room can drop below 20 degrees F. It gets cold. In colder weather it takes the edge off and makes it decent to grab the bar. It milder cold it makes the bar downright toasty.

However it does have a sad design flaw. The zipper. For those of you who enjoy a more aggressive knurling, please make sure you pull the zipper UP when you are zipping. Over time you zip the sleeve across the bar, and it files the zipper down. One day that zipper falls apart and your not able to zip it up anymore.

When that day comes, you need a YKK zipper. Very cheap and easy to find. I managed to repair mine for <$15. But I was really disappointed with the current zipper design. It will most likely break again, but it's a wonderful product that I'll keep using until I can find a better solution.

Customer service was superb. Barbell warmer works fine. After the first 2-3 uses, zipping the warmer around the barbell is easy.

It’s great, I turn it on when I start my stretching and warm up. By the time I’m ready to do bar work it’s warm and ready for me(not full temp but probably 60’s). Feels so much better than a 40 degree bar.

I had bought my first Thermabell about 4 years ago. It had quit working. Since I had been happy with its performance and it was well outside the warranty period, I decided to order a new one. The new one arrived within a few days of the order being placed. I used it once, and very next time I went to use it, it would not work. As soon as I attempted to turn it on, all 3 lights would flash at the same time. I contacted Thermabell customer service. They asked me a couple questions about my use of the new one. Custome Service sent me a replacement one, and it arrived within a few days. The replacement has been working, just like my original that I bought years before. Had it not been for the great customer service, I would not have written such a positive review, nor would I have had such a positive experience. ;-)

Worked once. Second time of use, it failed to warm. All three lights flash instead of the one showing the status of the selected heating time.
Gonna try to talk to customer service, and will update my review upon customer service conversation.
